Alex Silva

Alex Silva, CVA, CRT, RCP, has extensive experience in the healthcare field, primarily in respiratory therapy and volunteer management. Currently serving as the Volunteer Services Manager at Vitas Healthcare since April 1999, Alex oversees a hospice volunteer program that includes approximately 200 volunteers. Prior experience includes managing a Respiratory Therapy program for eight skilled nursing facilities at SunCare Respiratory Services and leading efforts as the Lead Respiratory Therapist/SNF Liaison at Tri-City Medical Center. Alex has also held a supervisory role at Dignity Health California Hospital Medical Center, managing various aspects of respiratory therapy in critical care settings. Educational credentials include a Certified Respiratory Therapist degree from California Paramedical & Technical College and ongoing studies at San Diego Miramar College.
