Jennifer O'Neill

Jennifer O'Neill, DNP, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Their most recent position is as the National Director of Palliative Care at VITAS Healthcare since September 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at Aspire Health, Inc. where they held various positions including Regional Vice President of Clinical Operations, Clinical Director, and Nurse Practitioner, Team Lead from 2016 to 2022. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as an Oncology Abstractor at Flatiron Health. Jennifer also served as an Adjunct Professor at Hunter College from 2015 to 2019. Jennifer started their career at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as a RN in 2006 and later became a Nurse Practitioner from 2015 to 2016. Before transitioning into the healthcare field, Jennifer worked as a General Manager at Regal Entertainment Group from 1990 to 2006.

Jennifer O'Neill has a comprehensive education history in the healthcare field. Jennifer obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Nursing from Adelphi University from 2007 to 2011. Jennifer further pursued their education at Hunter College, where they completed their Doctorate of Nursing Practice from 2011 to 2015. Recently, in 2020 and 2021, Jennifer obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Touro University. Additionally, they have acquired several certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt from ASQ - World Headquarters in 2023, Reki I in 2015, and various certifications related to adult/gero nursing practices and palliative care.
