Paul van Eijden has over 20 years of experience in software engineering and development. Paul began his career in 2006 as a CTO for the Nationale Postcode Loterij. During their time there, they were responsible for creating the new postcodeloterij.nl website from the ground up, including all backend calls, making lottery results available for millions of participants, and leading a team of over 20 software developers.
In 2009, Paul co-founded Unicornify 🦄, and in 2012 he co-founded Treatwell, which was the first startup with the biggest success and exited after 18 months to Recruit Holdings for 34 million euro. In 2014, Paul founded Data Valuate, a data platform with IoT and AI awareness.
In 2016, Paul took on the role of Head of Media at The River Church Amsterdam, and in 2017 he became Co-founder & Interim CTO of Woov. Paul also held the role of Advisor at QwikSense in 2015.
Paul was also the CTO of MyMove, where they are unlocking the future of mobility by offering customers and employees a seamless digital vehicle sharing or rental experience.
Paul is currently the CTO of Viteezy, where they offer subscriptions to personalised vitamines delivered to your door.
Paul van Eijden studied law at the University of Amsterdam in 2013. Additionally, they completed a course in Hogere Informatica at NHL Hogeschool between 1996 and 1999. Paul has also obtained several certifications, including AWS Solution Architect from Certs-School in October 2017, GX WebManager Architect from GX Software in November 2005, TOGAF Enterprise Architect from Abio in February 2009, and Time's Person of the Year 2006 from Time Magazine.
