Dennis Seymour

Dennis Seymour, CISSP, an Eagle Scout and US Army Veteran, currently serves as a Cyber Security Engineer at ViTel Net, supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs Community Image Exchange Service since October 2022. Previously, Dennis held various roles including Program Manager of Medical IT Risk at Bon Secours Mercy Health and Cyber Security Risk Analyst at TEKsystems, where responsibilities included supporting Marathon Petroleum's IT/OT teams. As a Senior Information Security Specialist at Dewpoint, Dennis developed procedures for the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services to ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements. Additional experience includes oversight as an Information Security Architect for the State of Michigan and leadership roles in cybersecurity programs supporting VA and DoD healthcare organizations. Dennis has also served in senior management positions, including Technical Security Advisor at the Department of Veterans Affairs and Chairperson of the HIMSS Medical Device Security Task Force. Dennis graduated from Spring Arbor University with a degree in Management and Organizational Development.
