Martin Guijt has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Martin currently serves as the Global lead OT Security at Viterra since September 2021. Prior to this, Martin worked as a Zelfstandig Security & Privacy professional at Gi3 Services B.V. since June 2012.
Martin also worked at Kadaster as an Information Security Architect from March 2017 to September 2021. Before that, they worked at Cloudeenvoud as an Adviseur from January 2013 to January 2021.
Martin has had experience in the field of information security at Logius, where they served as an Information Security Officer from January 2015 to February 2017. Martin also worked as an Interim Consultant / technical project manager BCM & DR at the European Patent Office from October 2012 to December 2014.
In the early years of their career, Martin worked in various roles at KPN, including Advisor, IT Architect, Senior IT Auditor, and Security Manager - Tactical Network Manager. Martin was also a Network Engineer at KPN. Martin started their professional journey at Unisource business network NL as an IT Service operator from May 1997 to May 2000.
Martin Guijt completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrotechniek from De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences from 1993 to 1997. Prior to that, they attended Pieter Groen High School from 1985 to 1991. Martin has also obtained various certifications throughout their career, including IEC 62443 security professional Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS) from NEN in December 2022, EC-Council's Certified Chief Information Security Officer from EC-Council in February 2021, Certified Information Privacy Manager from IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in June 2018, Agile Scrum Foundation from ASF EXIN in July 2015, Prince2 Practitioner from the Cabinet Office in March 2014, Certified Ethical Hacker from EC-Council in July 2013, CIPP/E from IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in June 2012, CISA from ISACA in December 2006, CISSP from (ISC)² in December 2004, and CCNP from Cisco in January 2001.
