Prashan Patel

Prashan Patel is a seasoned trader with a strong background in emissions trading and business development within the natural gas sector. Currently employed at Vitol as a Trader since June 2021, Prashan previously spent over thirteen years at Shell, where roles included Emissions Trader, Originator for Business Development focusing on Natural Gas in North West Europe, and Commercial Analyst for Business Development in the same region. Early career experience includes positions as a Trading Operator and Finance Operator, as well as a brief stint as a Financial Advisor at Welbeck. Prashan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Leicester, earned between 2003 and 2006, and completed secondary education at Colfes School from 1996 to 2003.
