Ziad Fleyhan

Ziad Fleyhan is an experienced trader currently working at Vitol Group since 2016. Prior to this role, Ziad served as Director of Trading for East Power at Direct Energy from 2013 to 2016 and held the position of VP Trading for East Power at Citi from 2011 to 2013. Ziad's career in the energy sector began at TransCanada as Senior Trader for East Power from 2006 to 2011, following a role as Senior Power & Gas Supply Analyst at Eversource Energy from 2003 to 2006. Ziad's initial experience in the field includes serving as an Energy Engineer at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2001 to 2003. Ziad holds an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Boston College Carroll School of Management, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Power Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the American University of Beirut, and a French Baccalaureate in Mathematics from Notre Dame De Jamhour.
