Daria Ivanova

Senior Scientist at VitriVax

Daria Ivanova has extensive work experience in the field of scientific research. Daria is currently employed as a Senior Scientist at VitriVax since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus from April 2019 to February 2023. Daria also served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Wyoming from January 2013 to December 2018, where they focused on studying the role of Natural Killer (NK) cells in response to parasitic Toxoplama gondii infection. Daria has additional research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Shemyakin-Ovchinnikov Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, RAS from September 2010 to July 2012, as a Research Assistant at Apto-Pharm Ltd. from December 2011 to June 2012, and as a Summer Research Assistant at New York Medical College in 2011 and 2010. Furthermore, Daria worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Shemyakin-Ovchinnikov Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, RAS from May 2010 to June 2010 and as a Summer Research Assistant at the University of Tennessee in 2009. Daria also gained experience in vaccine production as a Summer Research Assistant at New York Medical College in 2008.

Daria Ivanova began their education in 2006 at Lomonosov Moscow State Academy of Fine Chemical Technology, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Technology in 2010. Daria then pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Engineering degree from the same institution in 2012. Daria's academic journey continued at the University of Wyoming, where they spent five years from 2013 to 2018 completing their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Immunology and Microbiology.
