Shirisha Desai

Shirisha Desai is a highly experienced Process Development Engineer at VitroLabs Inc, with a career that spans various roles including Process Development Engineer II, Process Development Engineer I, and Research Associate in Upstream Process Development since April 2021. Prior to VitroLabs, Shirisha gained valuable experience as an intern at the Cultured Meat Symposium and Wockhardt Ltd, focusing on upstream process development and recombinant protein expression. Educationally, Shirisha holds a Master's degree in Biotechnology from California State University, Fresno, and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from KIT's College of Engineering, Kolhapur. Additional contributions include serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, where Shirisha supported over 90 students in "Intro to Biology" labs, and involvement in student leadership activities as a Campus Involvement Ambassador and Camp Facilitator.
