Chong Gee Tan

Chong Gee Tan is a Senior R&D Software Engineer at ViTrox Corporation Berhad, where since July 2019, Chong has played a key role in the development of the AI Inspection module for the V810 software, expanding defect classification and segmentation capabilities. Previously, as an R&D Software Engineer, Chong pioneered the integration of Deep Learning for PCB inspection, significantly enhancing the performance of the AXI V810i machine. Prior experience includes an industrial trainee position at ViTrox, where Chong was responsible for developing an internal image processing library and parameter tuning software. Chong holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Universiti Sains Malaysia, earned in August 2019.
