Ron Ostenfeld

Ron Ostenfeld has a strong background in the field of benefits and compensation. Ron has held various roles with different organizations throughout their career. Most recently, they served as the Director of Compensation and Benefits at VIVA HEALTH, starting in July 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Infinity Insurance, where they held the position of Director, Benefits and Compensation from November 2014 to July 2019, and Benefits Manager from July 2012 to November 2014. Before joining Infinity Insurance, Ron held the role of Associate Director of Human Resources at Tennessee State University from January 2011 to August 2012. Ron also served as the Director of Employee Benefits at Tennessee Board of Regents from May 2007 to January 2011. Ron started their career as a Benefits Administrator at Vanderbilt University, where they worked from 2003 to 2007.

Ron Ostenfeld earned their MS degree in Human Resource Management from Boston University, where they studied from 2004 to 2006. In addition to their degree, they also obtained additional certifications throughout their career. In 2002, they became a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist through the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP). In 2006, they obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI). Later, in 2015, they obtained the SHRM-SCP certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
