Alejandro Serrano has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Alejandro began their career as a Human Resources Intern at GLORY in 2004. Alejandro then worked as an HR Technician at Pfizer before joining Deloitte as a Consultant in 2006. Alejandro progressed within Deloitte, holding the positions of Senior Consultant and later Manager. In 2012, they transitioned to Ferrovial as a Project Manager in Corporate HR Development, where they worked until 2015. Alejandro then took on the role of Head of Talent at Ferrovial Services, leading the talent function of the Services Division globally. In 2020, they moved to the position of Head of Organization and HR Strategy at Ferrovial, responsible for implementing the group's HR strategy and leading corporate projects. Most recently, Alejandro became the Director of Talent and Engagement at Ferrovial in 2021. Apart from their corporate roles, they also served as an Associate Professor at Centro de Estudios Garrigues from 2017 onwards.

Alejandro Serrano has a diverse education history. Alejandro completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management from IE Business School in 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Human Resources from Centro de Estudios Garrigues between 2004 and 2005. Alejandro Serrano also holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Psychology from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, which they obtained between 1999 and 2004. Additionally, they have a certification in Harvard Management Essentials from Harvard Business Publishing, earned in 2012.
