Lindsey Noakes has a long and impressive career in the non-profit sector. Lindsey began their career in 2011 as the Founder & CEO of Primrose Hill Tutors, a successful tutoring company with more than fifteen tutors in London. In 2012, they joined Restless Development as an Events and Individual Donors Officer and Intern, where they ran the Live Below the Line campaign, raising over £55,000 through more than 200 participants. Lindsey also served on the organisational committee for the Ultimate News Quiz, which raised over £70,000. In 2013, they were promoted to Operations Coordinator at Restless Development, where they project managed and fully executed an office move for 50 employees, and consulted and communicated with all departments within the London office. In 2015, Lindsey moved to Making The Leap as an Impact Officer, where they designed and implemented MTL's first ever monitoring and evaluation system, and instigated and executed IT transition. In 2016, Lindsey cofounded Gather Hub, a company that uses data to get toilets to everyone, everywhere. Finally, in 2021, Lindsey joined VivaCity as the Head of People. At VivaCity, Lindsey works to make cities smarter, safer and more sustainable through AI sensors and 'Smart Junctions' signal control.
Lindsey Noakes attended SOAS University of London from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Violence, Conflict & Development. Prior to that, they attended the University of Bristol from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Human Geography.
