Stephen Kohut

Stephen Kohut has extensive work experience in the collision repair industry. Stephen currently holds the position of Regional Director at VIVE Collision since December 2022. Prior to this, they were employed at Collision Industry where they served as a Collision Industry Leader and Professional from March 2022 to December 2022.

Before joining VIVE Collision and Collision Industry, Stephen worked at Tesla for several years. At Tesla, they held various roles including Regional Body Repair Manager from November 2020 to March 2022, Senior Manager - Body Repair Field Operations from June 2019 to November 2020, and Collision Repair Team Leader from September 2018 to November 2020.

Stephen also has experience as a Collision Center General Manager at Carstar Fred Beans from April 2014 to August 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Mercedes-Benz USA as a Collision Center Manager from June 2008 to March 2014.

Stephen's earlier experience includes working as a Collision Center Manager at Colonial Auto Complex from March 2000 to June 2008, where they communicated with customers, managed multiple DRP relationships, and trained new technicians. Stephen began their career as a Body Shop Manager at Beacon Chevrolet-Oldsmobile from January 1996 to March 2000, where they managed insurer and client relationships, coordinated department functions, and developed process flows.

Stephen Kohut obtained their Associate's degree in Engineering from Mercer County Community College, which they attended from 1991 to 1993. Prior to that, from 1987 to 1991, they attended McCorristin Catholic High School. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained i-Car certification from I-CAR in September 1997 and ASE certification in June 1997.
