Sarah Newlin

VP, Marketing at Vivi

Sarah Newlin has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Sarah began their career as a Graduate (MSW) Student Intern at the NYC Administration for Children's Services in 2004 and later worked as a Graduate (MSW) Student Intern at Beth Israel Medical Center in 2005.

In the field of marketing, Sarah held various roles at The Princeton Review/Princeton Review Marketing Services from 2000 to 2008, including Executive Director of Marketing Services and Account Management, Executive Director of Product Management and Marketing Services, and Producer/Content Manager/Subject Matter Expert. Sarah was responsible for developing and executing targeted email marketing campaigns and online advertising packages for university clients, managing the product life-cycle of online tools, and providing content expertise for online test preparation courses.

Sarah also worked as a Digital Product Management, Product Marketing, and Content Consultant for several organizations, including the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), the National Research Center for College and University Admissions (NRCCUA), Noodle Education, The Princeton Review, and the Central Brain Tumor Registry of the United States (CBTRUS). Their projects included converting paper forms to digital formats, producing technical requirements for online products, and providing content and editorial support for digital and print publications.

In recent years, Sarah held positions at Testive, Inc as Director of User Engagement/Marketing and Marketing Consultant, where they drove demand for online SAT/ACT preparation programs, developed conversion channels, and executed thought leadership content marketing campaigns.

Sarah then joined Relias in 2016, where they worked as Manager of Marketing and Demand Generation and Manager of Product Marketing. In these roles, they led marketing strategy and demand generation efforts, collaborated with cross-functional teams, and managed marketing campaigns to generate qualified leads for sales teams.

Prior to their current role, Sarah was Vice President of Marketing at LearnPlatform from 2019 to 2023. In this position, they served as Vice President of Marketing and Director of Marketing, overseeing marketing strategies and collaborating with product, marketing, and sales teams.

Most recently, Sarah joined Vivi as the Vice President of Marketing in May 2023, where they continue to utilize their expertise in marketing and leadership.

Sarah Newlin has a Bachelor of Arts (BA), cum laude, in Political Science, Art History, and Economics from Barnard College. Sarah attended Columbia Law School, although the degree name and field of study are unknown. Additionally, they obtained a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from New York University School of Social Work. Sarah Newlin also holds certifications in Strategic Competitive Intelligence from the Institute for Competitive Intelligence and Pragmatic Marketing - Level II from Pragmatic Institute (Pragmatic Marketing + TDI). The certifications were obtained in October 2018 and March 2017 respectively.
