Polina Drozdova

Polina Drozdova has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Polina is currently working as a Business Intelligence Developer at Vivid Games since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Diakonessenhuis as an Application Developer and Administrator from May 2020 to August 2021. Polina also served as a Big Data Trainee through Working Talent during their time at Diakonessenhuis from February 2019 to May 2020. Before that, they worked as a Big Data Trainee at Working Talent from October 2018 to May 2020.

Polina's earlier experiences include working as a PhD Researcher at Radboud University Nijmegen from September 2013 to February 2018. During their time at the university, they also worked as a Research Assistant from January 2013 to August 2013. Polina started their professional career as a Research Assistant at Tilburg University from March 2011 to May 2012, where they contributed to the KNAW project "Where Mind Matters: Comparing Perspectives" and was responsible for project development and data gathering using qualitative and quantitative methods.

Polina Drozdova has a diverse education history. Polina started by pursuing a Specialist degree in Teaching English or German as a Second or Foreign Language at Pskov State Pedagogical University named after S.M. Kirov from 2005 to 2010. Following that, they advanced their qualifications in Modern conversational Dutch language at the same institution from 2009 to 2010.

Polina then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Language and Communication at Radboud University from 2010 to 2012. Polina continued their studies at Radboud University and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Cognitive Psychology and Psycholinguistics from 2013 to 2018.

In addition to their formal degrees, Polina has obtained various certifications. Polina earned Certificaat Nederlands als Vreemde Taal, Profiel Academische Taalvaardigheid from Nederlandse Taalunie in August 2010. Polina also completed multiple certifications related to data analysis and programming, such as Qlik Sense Data Architect Certification, Qlik Sense Business Analyst Certification, Learning QlikView, Programming with Python for Data Science, Data Scientist with Python, Exam 761: Querying Data with Transact-SQL, Professional Scrum Master I, Analizing Big Data with Microsoft R, Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Power BI, and Principles of Machine Learning: R Edition. These certifications were obtained between 2018 and 2023 from various institutions including Qlik, LinkedIn, Computrain, Microsoft, Scrum.org, and Neteologia-grupp.
