Alexa Nickow

Alexa Nickow has a diverse background in the legal field and entertainment industry. Alexa has held various roles throughout their career, starting as an intern at Stitely Entertainment and Paperwork Media. Alexa then worked at Music Dealers as a Lead Catalog Organization and Review Executive, where they reviewed and classified music submissions and trained new employees. Alexa gained valuable experience as an Associate Attorney at Myron M. Cherry & Associates, where they drafted motions in complex commercial litigation cases and managed discovery. Alexa later joined the City of Chicago Department of Law as an Assistant Corporation Counsel, where they drafted and negotiated procurement contracts and led a $150 million project. Alexa also worked at SMS Assist, L.L.C as an In-House Counsel and Corporate Counsel, managing a team of transactional attorneys and negotiating commercial contracts. Currently, they hold the position of Director, Associate General Counsel at Vivid Seats, where they provide legal counsel on strategic initiatives and reviews and drafts various commercial contracts.

Alexa Nickow received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, Music Industry, and Popular Music Studies from the University of Southern California. Alexa attended the university from 2006 to 2010. After completing their undergraduate studies, Alexa went on to pursue a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree at the University of Michigan Law School. Alexa attended law school from 2010 to 2013.
