Nathan Dunford

Nathan Dunford is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Director and Associate General Counsel at MX since September 2025, with prior roles including Board Advisor since January 2023 and Director, Associate General Counsel, Head of IP, Licensing & Product at Redis from December 2021 to September 2025. At Redis, Nathan led the compliance, privacy, and product legal team, managing significant initiatives such as the tri-license approach for Redis 8 and negotiating a strategic partnership with Microsoft that launched Azure Managed Redis. Previous positions include Senior Legal Counsel at Camunda, where Nathan negotiated multi-million dollar agreements, Legal Counsel at SS&C Technologies, where first-year revenue was $181 million, Corporate Counsel at Rimini Street, and Attorney at Adobe Systems, providing legal support across various transactional matters. Nathan holds an MBA from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, a Juris Doctor from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University, and a BA in International Relations from Brigham Young University.
