Al Polinar

Al Polinar has had a diverse range of work experience in software development. Al started their career at 3M in 2018, where they maintained and developed features for a full-stack web application. Al also designed and implemented a trainer-led e-learning platform, utilizing Agile and Scrum methodology to meet market needs during the Covid pandemic. In 2022, Al joined Enhance Systems with Innovative Features & Improvements as a Software Developer, gaining experience in Django. Currently, Al is working at Vivid Theory as a Software Developer.

Al Polinar completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Information Technology from the University of Mindanao, where they studied from 2009 to 2014. In 2012, they attended Jobs Academy and completed the Career Entry Course for Software Developers - Java NC IV. In 2014, they obtained a Computer Hardware Servicing NC II certification from the Technical Education and Skill Development Authority. In 2017, Al Polinar attended the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) and obtained a certificate in Object-Oriented Software Development. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained certifications in Front End Development Libraries, JavaScript Algorithms and Data Structures, and Back End Development and APIs from freeCodeCamp in 2022.
