Joe McCabe has worked in the IT industry since 2013. Joe began their career at Spicers as a Unix/Linux Systems Administrator, where they were responsible for RHEL 5 & 6/HP-UX systems in a VMware estate. Joe then moved to ARM in 2014, where they worked as a System Administrator, supporting laptop, desktop and mobile hardware across Windows, Mac OSX, and Linux operating systems. In 2016, they were appointed Lead Desktop & Infrastructure Engineer at Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe, where they were responsible for sourcing new hardware and supporting desktops for game developers. In 2017, they joined Frontier Developments as a System Administrator, where they supported in house developers with various Art and Programming software packages. In 2019, they moved to Red Balloon Learner Centres as an IT Systems Administrator, where they were responsible for a small team in the absence of the IT Manager. In 2020, they founded TK-INC Services Ltd. and became its Director, while also taking on IT contract work. Joe also worked at Improbable as an IT Support Analyst, where they were responsible for investigating the integrity of the current office infrastructure. Finally, in 2021, Joe worked at Evonetix Ltd. as an IT Ops Engineer, where they took on the in house support needs for SaaS & PaaS solutions. Joe is currently working at VividQ as an Infrastructure Engineer.

Joe McCabe attended Cambridge Regional College, where they obtained a BTEC National Award, BTEC First Diploma, and NCFE Certificate in Music Technology, Performing Arts, and Performance Skills. Joe also holds several certifications, including UNIX and Linux: Tools and Utilites from Learning Tree International (obtained in June 2014), CompTIA Network+ Certificate from CompTIA (obtained in July 2011), CompTIA A+ Certificate from CompTIA (obtained in March 2011), and ITIL Foundation certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
