Nathan Dau

Nathan Dau comes to Vivo with prior experience in law, investment banking, and growth equity investing. During his career, Mr. Dau has worked on a broad range of transactions including public and private M&A, leveraged buyouts, IPOs, and private financings. Prior to Vivo, Mr. Dau worked for HighBar Partners, an investment firm which provides growth capital to technology companies. Prior to HighBar, Mr. Dau worked for Citigroup, where he was an investment banker in the M&A group. In that role, Mr. Dau completed over $28 billion of M&A transactions across multiple industries.

Prior to Citigroup, Mr. Dau was an attorney at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP where he represented targets and acquirers in connection with seven M&A transactions with an aggregate deal value of over $3 billion. At Skadden, Mr. Dau also represented issuers in connection with three IPOs, raising over $730 million of aggregate capital, and advised clients on public and private debt offerings, raising over $2 billion of proceeds.

Mr. Dau holds a B.A. in Computer Science, cum laude, from Columbia University. Mr. Dau also holds a J.D. from the Columbia Law School, where he served as Managing Editor of the Columbia Law Review, and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management.
