Rodney Simkonda is an experienced operations and supply chain management professional with a diverse background in the petroleum and manufacturing sectors. As the Depot Operations Manager at Vivo Energy since February 2020, Rodney oversees supply, storage, distribution, and retail of petroleum products across Africa. Prior experience includes serving as the Sales and Operations Planning Manager at Lafarge Cement Malawi Limited, where responsibilities included managing supply operations for efficient service delivery. Additionally, Rodney held the position of Senior Supply Chain Planner at Carlsberg Malawi Limited, focusing on inventory performance and production forecasting. Rodney began the career as a Management Trainee, supporting documentation and operations data management. Rodney holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics Sciences, majoring in Statistics and Computing, from the University of Malawi The Polytechnic.
