Timothy Ndegwa has extensive work experience in the fields of internal controls, risk management, and auditing. Timothy is currently the Head of Internal Controls at Vivo Energy, where they oversee internal control operations in 23 African markets. Prior to this, they held the position of Internal Controls Specialist at Vivo Energy. Before joining Vivo Energy, Timothy worked as a Regional Risk Manager for East and Southern Africa Markets at Standard Chartered Bank. Timothy also has a background in auditing, having worked as an Audit Manager at PwC, where they gained experience in managing audits and providing assurance services.
Timothy Ndegwa completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at the University of Nairobi from 2002 to 2006. During the same period, they also pursued an ACCA degree in Accounting and Finance at the Strathmore Business School (SBS). Prior to their university education, Timothy attended Mangu High School from 1997 to 2000, but it is unclear whether they obtained a degree or pursued any specific field of study there.
