Pelin Candarlioglu Deacon

Pelin Candarlioglu Deacon is an accomplished professional in the field of immunotherapy and microphysiological systems (MPS). Currently serving as the Director of Immunotherapy at Vivodyne and a Director at 3D and 3Rs, Pelin provides independent consultancy on MPS applications for SMEs. In addition to these roles, Pelin chairs the Industry Advisory Board for EUROoCS, steering strategic initiatives and collaboration among various stakeholders in the Organ-on-Chip community. As a member of several advisory boards, including the MPS World Summit and the North American 3Rs Collaborative, Pelin advocates for the regulatory acceptance of MPS technologies and promotes animal welfare through the 3Rs principles. Pelin has a rich academic background with a PhD in Bone Tissue Engineering and numerous leadership positions across reputable organizations, highlighting a commitment to advancing non-animal models in preclinical research.
