Heetan Patel

Heetan is a Finance professional with over 15 years’ experience in various industries ranging from FinTech, Entertainment and now Energy Renewables. Heetan joined VivoPower in July 2017 and has since held the position of Financial Accountant overseeing group accounting covering the UK, North America and APAC regions.

Prior to VivoPower, Heetan worked for Dealogic Ltd, a leading Global FinTech company providing financial data solutions to a wide range of Investment Banks. There he enjoyed a variety of roles including Lead Financial Accountant based in the Hong Kong office. Here he headed up and created the new offshore finance team and was responsible for implementing the strong financial practices and frameworks for the global business. After returning to the UK, Heetan was responsible for the financial reporting of the growing Hungarian entity of the business along with any newly acquired business ventures.

Heetan has also been heavily exposed to M&A activity and assisted in the sale of Ministry of Sound Recordings to Sony Music, which included completion accounting, transition of reporting to the incumbent Sony framework and post-sale Audit preparation.
