Samuel started his career completing an Advanced Modern Apprentice as a Vehicle Technician for the Ford Motor Company.
Following that, he joined the British Royal Navy as an Aeronautical Engineer where he served for seven and a half years on Sea King and Lynx helicopters in the UK and abroad.
His responsibilities as an Able Rate included servicing and routine maintenance of the Aircraft and after two promotions to Petty Officer, included fault diagnosis, supervision of maintenance teams, and documentation compliance.
Since he left the Royal Navy, he has worked as a Technical Author for Boeing, Aerolite, and most recently, the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority, using his engineering knowledge to write and edit technical documentation.
