John Salvatore

John Salvatore has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. John started their career as a Technical Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from June 2011 to May 2013. John then joined pymetrics in September 2013 and served as the CISO & Lead Software Engineer. During their time at pymetrics, they played a key role in building and launching the initial product, growing the engineering team, and leading DevOps and SRE. John also worked closely with legal, sales, product, and engineering leadership to manage information security and data privacy risks. In 2019, John joined Bridgewater Associates as a Data Engineer, working there until July 2020. John is currently at Vivun, where they have held multiple roles including Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineering Manager, and Senior Software Architect from August 2020 to present.

John Salvatore attended Tufts University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned two Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degrees. The first degree was in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering, and the second degree was in Cognitive Science.
