Senior Accounts Technician at Vivup

Michael Purdy-Cassidy has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Michael started their career at Eden Gastro Bar as a Bartender from 2009 to 2010. Michael then worked at Tesco PLC as a Customer Service Assistant from 2010 to 2012. During this time, they also worked part-time as a Casual Labourer and Assistant Book Keeper at E.CANTERBURY BUILDERS from 2012 to 2014.

In 2014, Michael joined Vivup as a Supplier Liaison, where they worked closely with account management to improve the efficiency of processes and enhance the end user experience. Michael then transitioned to the role of Credit Controller in 2018, responsible for managing cash flow, chasing aged debt, and preparing financial reports. In their most recent role at Vivup as an Account Technician, Michael was responsible for invoice generation, payroll reports, and client experience/service.

Aside from their main roles, Michael also volunteered as a Treasurer for Denmead FC from 2019 to 2022, where they managed cash flow, payment of invoices, and attended board meetings. Throughout their career, Michael has shown a strong aptitude for numbers and has been trusted with various book keeping responsibilities.

Michael Purdy-Cassidy began their education in 2011 at the University of Chichester, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business and Marketing. Michael completed their degree in 2014. In 2018, they enrolled at Avado and obtained an ACCA Level 4 Diploma in Accounting & Business by 2019. Michael'sstudies continued at Avado from 2019 to 2021, during which they completed the ACCA Applied Skills LW-FM (F4-F9) program, specializing in Accounting.
