Dina Begun

Dina Begun has extensive experience in data and analytics, with a focus on data processing and creating insights for companies. Dina currently holds the position of Director of Data and Analytics at Viz.ai, where they lead a team of data engineers, data analysts, and product analysts. Prior to this role, Dina was the Data and Analytics Manager at Viz.ai, where they were responsible for data pipelines, transformations, and business insights. Dina also served as the Data Team Leader and Data Manager at Viz.ai.

Before their time at Viz.ai, Dina worked as a Python Developer at Geo-Prospect. In this role, they automated data management tasks and increased overall productivity using Python. Dina also worked as a Resource Geologist at Geo-Prospect, where they supervised and participated in a major reserve estimation project and implemented new modeling techniques.

Dina's earlier experience includes being a Teaching Assistant at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and a Data Analyst in the Israel Defense Forces.

Dina Begun completed the Space Studies Program at the International Space University in 2016. Dina holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Geoscience from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, which they obtained in 2013. Prior to that, Dina earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Physics & Geosciences from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, graduating in 2011.
