Diana Peña has been working in the education and public programs sector since 2010. Diana began their career at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden as the Fairchild Challenge Coordinator in 2010. In 2016, they moved to Vizcaya Museum and Gardens as the School Programs Manager. Most recently, in 2023, they took on the role of Director of Education and Public Programs at the Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University.
Diana Peña obtained a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the Universidad de Los Andes in 2006, followed by a Master's degree in Social Anthropology from the same institution in 2008. Diana later obtained a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria in 2010.
