Srinivas Gampala

Srinivas Gampala has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Srinivas is currently the Senior Director and Head of R&D Program Management Office at Vizgen, a position they started in 2023. Prior to this, from 2021 to 2023, they worked as an Associate Director of Program & Alliance Management at Omega Therapeutics.

Srinivas also has significant experience at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where they worked as a Senior Program Manager from 2019 to 2021. In this role, they led global cross-functional teams in the development and commercialization of new products, with a focus on gene therapy and COVID vaccine research. Srinivas also managed program/portfolio management and governance and made important decisions regarding program prioritization.

Before Thermo Fisher Scientific, from 2009 to 2019, Srinivas worked at Dow and DowDuPont as a Technical Group Leader and Program Manager. In this capacity, they developed technical and business strategies, managed a team of scientific professionals, and oversaw program/project management from concept to commercialization. Srinivas also collaborated with contract research organizations to enhance technical capabilities.

From 2007 to 2009, Srinivas served as the Group Leader of Molecular Biology at Edenspace. Here, they built and managed a high-performing team, drove the generation and testing of lead candidates, and played a key role in capturing intellectual property and establishing industry relations.

Srinivas began their career as a Post Doctoral Research Associate at the Carnegie Institution, Stanford University, where they worked from 2004 to 2007.

Srinivas Gampala completed their education at Texas Tech University, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Biology in 2004. Additionally, they pursued an Executive MBA at Quantic School of Business and Technology, but the start and end years of this program are not specified. In terms of certifications, Srinivas Gampala obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2017. In 2013, they attained a Manager Certification in Business Strategy and Execution-4Dx (4 Disciplines of Execution) from FranklinCovey. Furthermore, in 2010, they obtained a Root Cause Analysis Practitioner & Facilitator Certification from Sologic, LLC. Lastly, Srinivas Gampala received an Honored Listee recognition from Marquis Who's Who in May 2023.
