Shannon Sims

Shannon Sims, MD, PhD, FAMIA, is a seasoned professional in healthcare analytics and informatics, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Emerging Markets and Data Operations at Vizient, Inc. Since 2018, Shannon has held various executive roles including Vice President of Data Intelligence & Interoperability and Physician Informaticist. Additionally, Shannon is a Board Member at Phrase Health and previously held the position of Chief Analytics Officer at Upfront Healthcare Services. Shannon's past experience includes leadership roles at Froedtert Health and Rush University Medical Center, along with project management at the American Medical Association. Shannon's academic credentials include a PhD in Biomedical Informatics from the University of Utah School of Medicine and an MD from Rush Medical College. An education background in Biology was completed with a B.A. from Oberlin College.
