Andrew Song

Andrew Song has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Andrew currently serves as a Senior Software Engineer at VIZIO, where they previously worked as a Software Engineer. Additionally, they had an internship role as a Platform Cloud Services Engineering Intern at VIZIO.

Prior to their time at VIZIO, Andrew gained valuable experience at Hack Reactor, a coding bootcamp, where they initially completed the Software Engineer Immersive program. Andrew was then invited back as a part-time Teaching Assistant, providing mentorship and guidance to software engineering students.

Andrew has also worked on personal projects, including WePark, a parking availability prediction app, where they performed data analysis and utilized PostgreSQL for the first time. Andrew also took part in the development of Footwork, an e-commerce application, focusing on back-end improvements for handling large amounts of data and high traffic. Lastly, they contributed to building the reservation service for the Home2Go vacation home rental application.

Andrew Song attended the University of Washington from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics. Following their undergraduate studies, Andrew then enrolled at Hack Reactor in 2020 and completed a Software Engineering Immersive program in 2021.
