Angelo Salazar

Angelo Salazar has a diverse range of work experience. Angelo recently joined VIZIO as an Information Security Analyst in August 2022. Prior to that, they completed an internship as a Security Analyst at the same company from June 2022 to August 2022.

From 2018 to 2021, Angelo worked as an Assistant Soccer Coach at James Irwin Charter High School. In this role, they managed a group of 20 athletes and implemented an effective and rigorous athletic program. Angelo also corresponded with the team community, coordinated special events, and prioritized athlete safety.

During their time at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs from 2019 to 2020, Angelo held multiple roles. Angelo was a Team Member of the UC Lions Cybersecurity Team, where they covered and investigated various aspects of cybersecurity. Additionally, they worked as a Developer for their UCCS Senior Research Project, where they developed a Denial of Service (DoS) script in Python and successfully detected and mitigated DoS attacks.

Angelo's work experience includes a brief period at Kohl's in 2015, where they served as a Sales Associate during the holiday season. Angelo was responsible for stocking inventory, assisting customers, and effectively communicating with them.
