Barry Woodward

Barry Woodward has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Barry is currently working at VIZIO as a Senior Software Engineer II. Prior to joining VIZIO, Barry held the position of Staff Engineer at SiriusXM. Before that, they worked as a Senior Staff Embedded Software Engineer at Bowers & Wilkins. Barry has also worked at Samsung Electronics as a Staff Engineer at Samsung Research America (SRA-Dallas). Prior to that, they worked at Texas Instruments in various roles including Android Audio Software Development Lead and Android Video Applications Software Development Lead. Barry also held positions at Nokia Mobile Phones as a Software Engineer and at the University of Texas at Dallas as a Teaching Assistant. Barry started their career as a Software Engineer Intern at Raytheon and E-Systems, where they served as a Coop student and Student Intern, respectively.

Barry Woodward holds an MS degree in Electrical Engineering, which they earned from The University of Texas at Dallas from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Southern Methodist University, where they obtained a BS degree in Electrical Engineering and Math, from 1993 to 1997.
