Daniel Scherzer

Daniel Scherzer, PMP, has a diverse range of work experience spanning several industries and roles. Daniel currently serves as a Senior Technical Program Manager at VIZIO, where they lead revenue initiative programs and serves as a Scrum Master for the Smartcast Services' Client Team and WatchFree+ Team. Prior to this role, Daniel was an Engineering Program Manager at DISH Network, where they managed programs and projects for messaging and voicemail functions. Daniel also acted as a Scrum Master for engineers laying out foundational data centers for DISH Network's wireless network.

Before DISH Network, Daniel worked at Niwaka Corporation as an International Project Manager/Buyer, where they led purchasing teams and managed international purchase projects. Daniel implemented PMI methodologies and stricter risk management to ensure successful project completion. Daniel also has experience as a Head Teacher at TLC Kids Club Kindergarten, where they developed a yearlong curriculum to teach English to Japanese children.

Earlier in their career, Daniel served as a CEO Executive Assistant at Nippon Shokken U.S.A Inc., where they acted as a representative and translator for Japanese executives and advised upper management on HR issues and legal compliance. Daniel also worked as an International Sales and Marketing Manager at Ankas Trading Co. Ltd., where they led sales and market research for exporting Japanese cars.

Daniel's career began as an English Teacher (ALT) in the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program (JET), where they coauthored and implemented a new elementary school English curriculum.
