Parveen Jindal

Parveen Jindal has over 24 years of work experience in software engineering and data analytics. Parveen is currently working as the Director of Software Engineering - AdTech and Innovation at VIZIO, where they are responsible for managing ingestion, storage, processing, and analytics of streaming event data from connected TVs. Parveen also oversees cloud and big data platform management along with evaluating frameworks and platforms. Prior to their current role, Parveen worked at Envestnet | Yodlee as the Director of SRE - Data and Analytics, leading the data engineering, cloud engineering, and optimization team. Parveen was responsible for data architecture, data engineering, AWS cloud infrastructure, and SRE, as well as data pipelines processing millions of records. Before that, they served as a Senior Manager of Engineering - Data Lake Platform at Esurance, where they managed data engineering and Hadoop platform operations and built data lake frameworks and integrations. Parveen also worked at Nielsen as a Senior Engineering Manager, leading architecture and engineering for the Digital Media Measurement product line. At GlanceGuide, they served as a Principal Engineer in the Digital Media Measurement and Analytics department, where they created the VideoAnalytics product and developed online video streaming events processors and data models for event logging and analytics. Parveen had also worked as a Software Architect at Fox Interactive Media, where they enhanced and rolled out online ad management systems. Before that, they were a Software Architect at IGN Entertainment, where they led the architecture and development of the Digital Ad-Operations Management system. Parveen has a background in entrepreneurship, having founded Calculus Software and implemented distributed computing solutions for large enterprise clients. Parveen has also worked at Oracle in various roles, including Software Development Manager, Principal Application Engineer, and Senior Application Engineer, where they managed Oracle CRM applications, led engineering for Oracle partner relations and marketing applications, and contributed to the development of Oracle ERP applications. Parveen has a strong track record of technical leadership, mentoring, and delivering successful projects throughout their career.

Parveen Jindal has a diverse education history. Parveen holds a Master's degree in Software Engineering (Dual Concentration) from San Jose State University. The degree focused on Networking Software and Enterprise Software Systems.

Prior to that, Parveen completed a MCA degree (Master of Computer Applications) from Kurukshetra University, specializing in Computer Science & Applications.

Parveen also obtained a BSc. degree from Delhi University, with a combination of Mathematics and Computer Science as the field of study.

In addition to the formal education, Parveen has acquired several certifications. Parveen obtained the "AWS Data Analytics Fundamentals" certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2020. In October 2020, Parveen also earned the "AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner" certification, again from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
