Ravi Pandit

Ravi Pandit has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Ravi started their career in 2009 at PathPartner Technology as a Software Engineer, where they worked on Android application development, social media integration, and customization of Android AOSP applications. Ravi gained hands-on experience with Gstreamer and TI OMAP based Android board bringups.

In 2011, Ravi joined Sling Media as a Software Developer, where they focused on developing enterprise applications such as SlingPlayer and Dish Anywhere. Ravi was responsible for custom Electronic Program Guide (EPG) and skinned remote design, as well as integrating native SDK functionalities into the application using JNI.

From 2014 onwards, Ravi worked at PathPartner Technology Inc., initially as a Software Engineer and later as a Senior Software Engineer. During this time, they worked on various projects, including developing a Bluetooth LE Android library for Smartcast and Android TV system applications. Ravi also gained experience in AOSP framework/HAL, Android bring up on Sigma Designs boards, and Google CTS. Additionally, they worked on integrating Bluetooth profiles into the Android system and collaborated with the Broadcom team on a Bluetooth smartwatch proof-of-concept (POC).

Most recently, Ravi joined VIZIO in 2018 as a Senior Software Engineer, although specific details about their role are not provided.

Ravi Pandit completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science from S.J.C.E, Mysore, starting in 2005 and completing in 2009.
