Victor Nelson

Victor Nelson has extensive work experience in various roles and industries.

Victor most recently worked at Vizru, Inc. as the VP of Solutions Engineering and Global Support, where they led teams in developing a "No-Code" Digital Transformation Platform for business process automation. Victor'sresponsibilities included developing solutions across multiple verticals, such as insurance, healthcare, and supply chain, by leveraging technologies like ML, NLP, and OCR. Victor also led the Global DevOps team in delivering custom applications for multiple companies.

Prior to that, Victor worked at Crunch Data, Inc. as a Solutions Consultant, where they gained and maintained technical mastery of a customer's people, processes, and technology. Victor collaborated with client stakeholders on a daily basis to develop analytic solutions and documented requirements and desired outcomes with analysts.

Victor also served as the Sr. Manager Quality Systems at Toshiba America Electronic Components, Inc., implementing policies and procedures for global manufacturing and marketing of consumer Solid State Drive (SSD) hardware and software products. Additionally, they were the Director of Product Management at RevUp Software Inc., where they developed business and product strategies for cloud-based Enterprise Content Management (ECM) products and services.

In their earlier career, Victor held positions such as Director of Business Development at Axiom Associates, Director of Quality at Force10 Networks, Quality Manager at TollBridge Technologies, Technical Associate Product Reliability and Environmental Compliance at Harmonic Inc., Manufacturing Program Manager at Wavespan Corporation, and Senior Test Technician at Space Systems Loral.

Throughout their career, Victor demonstrated their expertise in quality assurance, product management, business development, and technical support. Victor has successfully implemented standardized processes, developed and implemented new product introduction processes, and contributed to cost reduction and improved product quality.

Victor Nelson has a diverse educational background. Victor started their education journey in 1990 when they joined the US Navy, where they specialized in Electronics and Computer Science in the Submarine Advanced Electronics Field (SAEF). During this time, they focused on Submarine Navigation, Digital, and Electronic Surveillance Systems.

After leaving the Navy in 1997, Victor attended the University of Phoenix from 1997 to 2000. Here, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Information Systems.

In addition to their formal education, Victor has also obtained several certifications. In February 2017, they completed "The Data Scientist's Toolbox" course offered by Coursera and obtained a certificate. In March 2017, they also obtained a certificate in R Programming from Coursera Course Certificates. Most recently, in May 2020, Victor acquired a certification in Business Process Improvement from LinkedIn.
