Charles Funk

Charles Funk is an accomplished mining executive currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Heliostar Metals Limited, where efforts focus on establishing a leading exploration company with high-grade gold and silver projects in Alaska and Mexico. Previously, Charles held the position of Vice President of Exploration at Vizsla Silver, successfully building an exploration team and leading the discovery of significant deposits in the Panuco silver district. As Vice President at Evrim Resources Corp., Charles contributed to major joint ventures and exploration initiatives, resulting in notable discoveries sold to First Majestic and advancing a 100% owned project. Charles also brings experience from Newcrest Mining as a Senior Geologist and OZ Minerals as a Senior Geophysicist, along with an academic background in Earth Science and Physics from the University of Melbourne and La Trobe University.
