Angel Arcones

Angel Arcones is a scientist at Vizzuality since November 2021, focusing on data related to climate change, biodiversity, and sustainability. Prior to this role, Angel served as a Data Scientist at Quental from June 2020 to November 2021, where responsibilities included developing predictive models for client retention at Santander. Between January 2014 and May 2020, Angel worked as a PhD Researcher at the Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales, investigating the impacts of climate change on Arctic biodiversity. Early career experience includes an internship at IDOM Environment, handling environmental impact assessments and field data analysis. Angel holds a Master's degree in Data Science from KSchool, a PhD in Biology from Universitat de Barcelona, and multiple degrees in Biology and Evolutionary Biology from various institutions.
