Katrien Smet

Katrien Smet currently serves as the spokesperson for Vlaamse Milieumaatschappij since June 2023. Prior to this role, Katrien Smet was the spokesperson for Vlaams minister Demir from January 2023 to June 2023. From May 2002 to December 2022, Katrien Smet held various positions at Vlaamse Milieumaatschappij, including spokesperson and staff member to the Director General, as well as Director of Communications. Earlier experience includes a role as a researcher and editor at VRT from 1997 to May 2002, and a marketing department position at VRT from 1994 to 1996. Katrien Smet holds a Master's degree in History from Ghent University.
