Jan Beyen

Jan Beyen has extensive experience in communication and geodata architecture. Currently serving as a Communicatiemedewerker at Digitaal Vlaanderen since January 2006, Jan has continued involvement in communication following the merger of AGIV into the new agency Informatie Vlaanderen. Prior experience includes the role of Celhoofd GIS and directieassistent afdelingshoofd at Vlaamse Landmaatschappij from November 1995 to December 2005, as well as hoofd technische dienst at gemeentebestuur Kortemark in 1995. Jan began a career at Bank Brussel Lambert and also completed a thesis at Universiteit Gent. Jan holds a licentiaat in biologie and a degree in milieuwetenschappen from Ghent University, along with a solid educational foundation from Koninklijk Atheneum III and Middenschool Oostende.
