Raf Buyle

Raf Buyle is an experienced professional currently serving as the Innovation Lead at athumi since January 2022. Additionally, Raf has held the position of Information Architect at both Digitaal Vlaanderen since October 2014 and Vlaanderen connect. since March 2017. Prior experience includes serving as Programme Manager at VLAAMSE ICT ORGANISATIE from September 2011 to June 2014 and as Managing Director and Project Manager at DFC Software Engineering from February 2002 to September 2011. Raf began a career in research and development as an R&D Engineer at Creative Photonics from August 2000 to January 2002. Raf earned a PhD in Doctor of Information Engineering Technology from Ghent University between September 2016 and June 2021.
