Ravi Prasad

Ravi Prasad is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in product management, software engineering, and cybersecurity. Currently serving as the Fire TV System Software Manager at Amazon since February 2020, Ravi also holds the position of Chairman of VLAB Programs at VLAB MIT/Stanford Venture Lab since 2015, where significant contributions include identifying early-stage disruptive innovations and organizing expert panel sessions. Previous roles include Co-Founder and CTO at a Stealth Startup, VP of Product Management at OPSWAT, and Head of Product Management for F5 Networks' IoT Solutions, where Ravi achieved a seven-fold growth in IoT revenue. With over two decades of experience at TIBCO Software Inc. in various leadership roles, Ravi drove substantial product strategy and execution, including a successful digital transformation initiative. Ravi holds an MBA in Software Management from Carnegie Mellon University, an MS in Software Engineering from National University, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Instrumentation from Bangalore University.
