Wouter Depoortere

Wouter Depoortere is an experienced professional currently serving as the Head of Architecture at FEDERALE Assurance-Verzekering since April 2025 and as Executive In Residence at Vlerick Business School since January 2021. Additionally, Wouter has been a speaker for Gezinsbond vzw since March 2017, delivering talks and workshops on topics like Internet & Privacy and Digital Toddlers. Previously, Wouter held managerial roles at Myreas and Colruyt Group, where responsibilities included leading Enterprise IT Architecture and managing project portfolios. An extensive background in telecommunications was gained during a long tenure at Proximus, where Wouter contributed to various significant initiatives and held roles such as Chief Enterprise Architect. Wouter's academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Applied Economic Sciences from KU Leuven and a Master’s Degree in Marketing from Ghent University.
