Erik Likeness

Chief Development Officer at VLI Tech

Erik Likeness has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Erik started their career as a Lab Technician and Teaching Assistant at Texas A&M University, where they provided training and tutoring for engineering lab students, developed software for research studies, and managed lab assets. Erik then worked as a Freelance EMS Technology and Software specialist before joining United Space Alliance as a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Strategic Project Manager. In this role, they implemented CMMI level 5 processes and techniques for software project management and process improvement, designed process simulation models for software development, and received recognition for their leadership and achievements. Erik later joined VLI Tech as the Chief Development Officer, where they created the EMS Anyware Product Suite, a mobile app for EMS companies that optimized their operations and improved customer service. Erik also implemented a health monitoring system to proactively identify potential issues. Erik has demonstrated expertise in software development, project management, statistical analysis, and process improvement throughout their career.

Erik Likeness completed their high school education at Service High School from 1991 to 1995. Erik then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University, graduating in 1999. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt from The George Group in January 2008, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from The George Group in June 2006, and Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in December 2010.
