Hal Roberts

Hal Roberts joined the firm in 1997 and has enjoyed decades of experience as a successful medical malpractice litigator. Committed to representing each and every client with the utmost vigor, Hal consistently achieves desired results for healthcare professionals, hospitals, skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers and other healthcare care facilities throughout New York State. His victories on behalf of clients included obtaining summary judgment, directed verdicts and jury verdicts in numerous cases. Hal also has extensive experience defending high-exposure general liability cases over the years. Before joining the firm, he worked in the Law Department of the New York City Housing Authority from 1994-1997.

A graduate of Duke University with a Bachelor of Arts degree (1989), Hal went on to conduct admissions interviews for years as a Duke alumnus. He attained his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 1994. He earned the distinction of serving as an Associate Editor of the Quinnipiac Law Review and received multiple awards for outstanding legal writing and academic excellence. Hal has been admitted to practice since 1995 and is a member of the New York State Bar Association and New York State Medical Defense Bar Association.
