Peter Engelen

Peter Engelen currently serves as the Chair of the Board at HealthNet TPO since November 2023 and is a member of the Supervisory Board at the PlanetRomeo Foundation. Engelen has been involved with VluchtelingenWerk Nederland as a language coach and legal advisor for refugees since January 2020. As an Executive Interim Professional at Edelenbos Executive Solutions and an associate consultant at Boer & Croon since 2008, Engelen has extensive experience in executive roles. Additionally, Engelen directs engelen consult, established in 2000. Recent roles in healthcare include serving as a hospital counsellor for Mweso Hospital and Artsen zonder Grenzen Nederland in mid-2023, and previously as a hospital director and consultant for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in 2022 and 2023. Academically, Engelen holds an MD in medicine from Maastricht University and an Mr in Law from Utrecht University, complemented by education at INSEAD and coriovallum college.
