Anna Materla

Anna Materla has a strong background in law, particularly in the areas of IT, e-commerce, and corporate law. Anna has worked as an in-house lawyer for VM.PL Software House since April 2022, where they provide legal support in various areas such as corporate matters, intellectual property, data protection, and labor law. Anna also handles contract creation, review, and negotiation, including in German and English. Prior to this, Anna worked as an in-house lawyer for Selsey from October 2021 to March 2022, where they dealt with corporate, consumer, intellectual property, and data protection issues related to e-commerce. Anna was responsible for ensuring legal compliance of the company's website and online store, as well as drafting and reviewing regulations and other internal processes.

Before their in-house roles, Anna gained valuable experience at SDZLEGAL SCHINDHELM, where they served as an Attorney-at-law from June 2016 to August 2021. Anna also worked as a trainee attorney-at-law there from September 2015 to June 2016. Anna also briefly worked as a lawyer at the Court of Appeal in Wrocław from October 2016 to September 2017.

Earlier in their career, Anna had significant experience at Law Office Lexperts from May 2012 to August 2015, where they provided legal services to German-speaking clients in various industries, including IT, furniture, and construction. Anna was involved in LLC setup proceedings during their time there. Anna also had trainee positions at the Law Office of an attorney Andrzej Hoffmann in Wrocław in 2011 and at Kredyt Bank S.A. in 2010.

In 2015 to 2016, Anna Materla attended both Chicago-Kent College of Law and Uniwersytet Wrocławski where they obtained a degree in School of American Law.

Between 2013 and 2014, Anna Materla attended Wyższa Szkoła Bankowa we Wrocławiu for a Postgraduate course in Legal and economic translations in German.

From 2013 to 2017, Anna Materla pursued PhD studies at the University of Wrocław in The Research Center for Legal and Economic Issues of Electronic Communication (CBKE).

From 2007 to 2012, Anna Materla obtained their Master's degree in Law from the University of Wrocław.

In 2011 and 2012, Anna Materla attended the University of Cologne where they studied Law.

Between 2009 and 2013, Anna Materla completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer science and econometrics from Wrocław University of Economics and Business.

In 2009 and 2011, Anna Materla attended Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin for studies in the School of German Law.

In addition, in 2011 to 2012, Anna Materla also studied at the University of Wrocław and specialized in the School of Austrian Law.
